Betty Slade will lead this Interpretive Creative Writing through Art Workshop.
Is the process of learning how to interpret merely a matter of studying a technique or is it a matter of enriching the mind, soul and spirit? It is both! Come and learn how to interpret works of great writers and artists and develop your own art and writing skills.
If you have watercolor supplies, please bring them, otherwise we will offer the supplies that you need for $5.00. Also bring writing material. This is for beginners, intermediates and professionals. Cost will be $90 for two days.

Chimney Rock Interpretive Association Volunteer Potluck, at 6:00pm, at the Community Center. Monthly potluck, every second Thursday, featuring speaker and good company is open to the public—please join us. CRIA will provide coffee, water and soft drinks. Anyone who wants to help with set up just c’mon by around 5:30pm--if anyone can stay and help clean and put away the tables, it is much appreciated.

This 2-day introductory printmaking workshop utilizes a unique hand-pressed printing process called "Reductive Ink", developed over the course of nearly 20 years by Professional Artist, D. Printmaking without a Press I, is high in content, and uses inexpensive, low-tech materials that can be easily used in a home studio environment. No previous experience is necessay.
Printmaking without a Press I, is also designed for those with experience in printmaking and/or in additional mediums, that simply want to explore their creativity in an art friendly atmosphere.
Coffee's prints have been shown in over 70 solo and group print exhibitions, and are included in nearly 200 prestigious public and private collections throughout the world.
